Panasonic2013 CES NEWS - Panasonic Lumix F5 digital camera : A new stylish and casual digital camera was presented by Panasonic at the CES Show in Las Vegas. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-F5 is a slim and stylish camera offering simple operating which is easy enough even for beginners. Equipped with a 28mm wide-angle lens with 5x optical zoom, the Panasonic DMC-F5 draws subjects close without deterioration of image quality unlike using a digital zoom. The 28mm wide-angle lens is advantageous in shooting dynamic landscapes or in capturing more subjects in a frame even at a short distance. The 14.1-megapixel large image sensor of the Panasonic Lumix F5 offers high resolution images so that it is still affordable to crop the part you want to enlarge out of the picture even after shooting.

The user friendly Panasonic DMC-F5 offers an Auto Scene Selector that detects the scene and sets the best parameter depending on the situation and subject - Macro, Portrait, Landscape, Night Portrait, Night Landscape and Sunset. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-F5 also features the popular Panorama Shot mode, making it possible to shoot a horizontal / vertical panoramic image with consequent shots taken by overlaying the previous picture in camera. In addition to capturing high resolution photos, the Panasonic camera also records HD videos in 1.280x720p resolution. Recording motion picture can be started with a press of an independent motion picture button on the back of the camera, which is extremely convenient for users to switch photo/video shooting instantly. The Panasonic DMC-F5 camera runs on a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery that lets you take approx. 220 photos on a single battery charge.

The Panasonic F5 comes in a range of vivid colors, including black, silver and pink. The Panasonic DMC-F5 will be available from March 2013 and carries an estimated retail price of €90. In the United States the camera has a suggested retail price of $90. Available colors and retail prices may vary from country to country.
