LG Optimus G Pro Android smartphone : Earlier this week NTT Docomo announced its smartphone and tablet portfolio for 2013. Among the listed products is a new LG Optimus smartphone. Meanwhile, LG Japan also included the Optimus G Pro smartphone on its website. We can therefore say with certainty that the LG Optimus G Pro L-04E runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. The 1.7Ghz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM memory delivers outstanding performance. Furthermore, the LG Optimus G Pro smartphone will be equipped with a new generation of touch display. It is a 5" Full HD IPS LCD display with Zero Gap Touch technology. In addition, the new Optimus G Pro delivers better battery performance.

LG Optimus G Pro smartphone functions
The new Optimus smartphone is equipped with a 13.2 megapixel camera. Videos can be recorded in Full HD quality. In addition, the LG Optimus G Pro features a 2.4 megapixel front-camera for video calling and self-portraits. The smartphone comes with 32GB of memory and can be expanded through a microSDXC card, up to 64GB. Furthermore, the LG Optimus G Pro offers 4G support. The new LG smartphone is equipped with a 3000mAh battery. For rapid charging LG has chosen a not removable battery. The LG Optimus G Pro weighs 160g and has dimensions of 70x139x9.9mm.

LG Optimus G Pro price & availability
In Japan the LG Optimus G Pro will be available through NTT Docomo, the smartphone will be available as from April 2013. No information was mentioned about a suggested retail price. The Mobile World Congress, which takes place next month in Barcelona/Spain, seems to be the right place for LG to exhibit the Optimus G Pro to the European public.
