 CES 2013 News - Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ9 digital camera : At the annual CES show in Las Vegas (Nevada), Panasonic introduced the Lumix SZ9 digital compact camera. The Panasonic DMC-SZ9 camera is packed with features to cater for any photographer, whether looking to capture friends and family, holiday pictures or a party night downtown. With an amazing 10x optical zoom LEICA DC lens, 25mm wide-angle, 20x digital intelligent zoom, 10 frames per second burst shooting, Wi-Fi connectivity and 14 creative photo filter effects, all packed into a sleek slim design, the Panasonic SZ9 digital camera is every photographer’s friend. In addition, the new Panasonic camera also features GPS functionality.

The 16.1 megapixel MOS image sensor has increased from its predecessor’s 14.1-megapixels. The Panasonic DMC-SZ9 boasts high-speed signal output and high-sensitivity image recording producing breathtaking results. The perfect signal-to-noise ratio of the MOS sensor and the Intelligent Noise Reduction system, which prioritises reducing noise in specific areas, found in the Venus Engine ensures both picture and movies shot at any sensitivity from low to high, are produced with outstanding clarity. Furthermore, the high quality of the pictures and Full HD video is easily viewed on the 3-inch LCD display.
Panasonic GPS camera with Wi-Fi support
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ9 digital camera is equipped with Wi-Fi and GPS. Once you’ve taken your pictures and videos, you can now instantly transfer, share and back-up your content. Just select the Wi-Fi button on the Panasonic camera and connect to your internet enabled device to share your pictures with friends online, wirelessly connect to your HD-TV for large screen viewing, print wirelessly or store all your photos in the Panasonic Lumix club cloud. Users can also tag the picture with a GPS location to record exactly where it was taken.
