SamsungCES 2013 NEWS - Samsung WB250F digital camera : At the CES Show in Las Vegas, Samsung unveiled a new range of compact cameras. Among the new cameras is the Samsung WB250F, a flagship model in the long-zoom series. Incorporating a 14.2 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, the Samsung WB250F captures detailed images even in low light situations. The Samsung WB250F incorporates a 24mm wide-angle lens, enabling users to get the best shots, from far away or up close with the 18x optical zoom. In addition to capturing photos, the Samsung WB250F also supports built-in WiFi, to share your photos in an instant. The camera’s Direct Link hot key quickly enables wireless functionality - letting you upload high quality photos to social networking sites and seamlessly sync your camera to other Smart devices.

The Samsung WB250F has a stylish and classic camera body with a pop-up flash. The camera incorporates a hybrid touch interface consisting of a 3" touch LCD screen and five-way navigational keys, allowing users to manipulate controls to their preference. For photographers that want to make the most of their WB250F, a full manual mode option gives complete control over the camera’s settings. Besides offering full manual control, the camera also features a Smart mode and Motion Photo features, to express your creativity. In addition the Samsung WB250F incorporates various intelligent features, such as Best Face, which automatically selects the best facial expressions from a burst shot to create group photos where everyone looks their best.

The Samsung WB250F will be available in white, cobalt black, red and gun metal. The long-zoom WB-series camera will be available from February 2013. The Samsung WB250F camera carries a suggested retail price of $250 in the United States. The estimated retail price for Europe will be announced prior to the release date.
