 2013 CES NEWS - Panasonic Lumix TZ35 digital camera : A new super zoom camera has been unveiled by Panasonic during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ35 (also known as the Lumix DMC-ZS25 in the United States) is a compact camera with an impressive 20x optical zoom lens. The Panasonic DMC-TZ35 incorporates a Leica DC lens with an ultra-wide coverage of 24-480mm. Thanks to Intelligent Resolution technology, the Intelligent 40x Zoom is available with minimum deterioration of picture quality, even with use of the digital zoom. The Panasonic Lumix TZ35 combines a 16.1 megapixel high sensitivity MOS sensor with a Venus Engine image processor for unparalleled image quality. The camera can shoot 5 fps with continuous AF or at 10 fps in high speed bust mode.

Unlike it's bigger brother, the Lumix DMC-TZ40, the TZ35 does not offer WiFi support. If does have plenty of other features like a new Creative Panorama function with 12 filters. Various Creative Control and Retouch options enable the user to apply a filter effect on the picture after shooting. Other features of the Panasonic TZ35 include Face Recognition, Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Selector, Intelligent Exposure, Intelligent HDR, Intelligent Burst and AF Tracking - the camera can operate fully automatic, leaving you free to compose shots. In addition, the Panasonic Lumix TZ35 records videos in high resolution Full HD 1920x1080 50i. Power O.I.S. is available in video and photo mode, to powerfully suppress blur.
Panasonic DMC-TZ35 price & availability
The Panasonic TZ35 comes in the colors black and silver. The Panasonic DMC-TZ35 will be available from March 2013 and carries an estimated retail price of €290. In the United States the camera will retail under the name Lumix ZS25 and carries a suggested retail price of $300. Color options and suggested retail prices may vary per country.
