 CES Show - Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ30 compact camera : The new Panasonic LZ30 features a 16.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor and a high quality 35x optical zoom lens. Users can use the large 3-inch LCD screen to capture the best pictures or browse their entire photo collection on the go. The Panasonic DMC-LZ30 is the perfect camera for your creative moods. The Panasonic Lumix camera newly integrates popular Creative Control and Creative Retouch. The Creative Control lets users shoot with a photo filter effect (Expressive, Retro, Low Key, High Key, Dynamic Monochrome, Impressive Art, High Dynamic, Sepia, Cross Process and One Point Color) while checking how it makes difference on the picture, which can also be used for high-def video recording.

Panasonic Creative Retouch function
The Creative Retouch functionality enables applying a photo filter effect (Retro, Low Key, High Key, Sepia, Dynamic Monochrome, Impressive Art, Miniature Effect, High Dynamic, Toy Effect, Star Filter and One Point Color) on the image after shooting in camera. With the new High Dynamic Range mode, several pictures are consecutively made at different exposure level to make a single composite picture without whiteout (over-exposure) or blackout (under-exposure) even in difficult lighting conditions. The Panorama Photo mode makes it possible to shoot a horizontal and vertical panoramic picture with consequent images taken by overlaying the previous image.
Panasonic LZ30 video recording and photo sharing features
The Panasonic DMC-LZ30 records dynamic high-definition video in 1280 x 720p in Motion JPEG. Motion pictures can be recorded continuously up to 2GB. The maximum available recording time for up to 2GB is displayed on the screen. Recording motion image can be started with a press of an independent motion picture button on the top of the Panasonic camera, which is extremely convenient for users to switch photo/video shooting instantly. Zoom is also available during video recording to draw subjects far away. Users can also sort and archive the pictures via a bundled software Photo fun Studio version 9LE and upload them to the social networking websites like Facebook and YouTube.
Panasonic Intelligent Scene Selector
The Panasonic LZ30 compact camera also features an Intelligent Scene Selector which automatically selects the six Scene modes - Macro, Portrait, Scenery, Night Portrait, Night Scenery and Sunset - that yields the best shooting situation. While offering a convenient shooting-assist function such as Intelligent Auto, the digital camera is equipped with P/M mode for users that are more advanced to enjoy more creative photography.
