Panasonic2013 CES News - Panasonic DMC-LZ30 digital compact camera : At the annual Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, Panasonic has unveiled a new LZ-series digital camera; the Panasonic Lumix LZ30. The Panasonic DMC-LZ30 camera features a high quality 35x optical zoom compact camera (25-875mm / 35mm equivalent) with optical image stabilizer. The 16.1 Megapixel CCD sensor and high performance image processing supports high quality digital photography. In addition, the new Panasonic Lumix camera also supports 720p HD video recording. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ30 camera records HD video in 1280x720p in Motion JPEG. Recording movies can be started with a press of an dedicated video picture button on the top of the camera.

The iA (Intelligent Auto) mode lets users leave everything to the camera to take breathtaking photographs with its Optical Image Stabilizer, Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Selector and Intelligent Exposure. The popular 'Creative Control' and 'Creative Retouch' are newly available with a total of 10 Creative Control / 11 Creative Retouch filter effects. Panorama Shot and High Dynamic Range are also incorporated in new Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ30. The 3-inch large 460.000-dot LCD display assures high visibility in any lighting circumstances, which is perfect for both shooting and playing back pictures. The cameras ergonomic design offers stable, comfortable grip.
