SonyNEWS CES 2013 - Sony CyberShot TF1 digital camera : Sony launches a new series of CyberShot cameras at the CES Show in Las Vegas. Among the new compact cameras is the waterproof Sony CyberShot DSC-TF1. This camera has a rugged design and is designed for active photographers. The Sony TF1 is the perfect companion during a week out. Waterproof up to 33ft, dustproof, shockproof and freeze proof, the Sony CyberShot TF1 can handle almost any situation. Large buttons and a sturdy camera grip makes the camera operation easy, no matter the conditions. The Sony DSC-TF1 incorporates a CCD sensor with a resolution of 16.1 megapixels. It is also possible to capture subjects up-close with the 4x optical zoom lens.

In case of low-lighting conditions, the Sony DSC-TF1 comes with an advanced flash that boosts the cameras sensitivity and extends the effective range of the flash. Other advanced technologies of the CyberShot DSC-TF1 include a Beauty Effect mode with re-touch options, including skin toning, eye widening and teeth whitening. The waterproof Sony CyberShot camera also incorporates a 360 Sweep Panorama mode, for amazing wide panorama shots. Optical SteadyShot helps to reduce the effects of camera shake, the image stabilization works both for still images as video recording. The Sony CyberShot TF1 records movies in 720p HD quality.

The Sony CyberShot DSC TF1 comes in five vivid colors; black, blue, red, orange and pink. The waterproof CyberShot camera will become available from February 2013. The Sony CyberShot TF1 camera will carry a suggested retail price of $200 in the United States. In Europe the DSC-TF1 will retail for an estimated price of €200 and £180 in the UK.
