 CES 2013 NEWS - Olympus Tough TG-630 iHS camera : Olympus presented a new series of Stylus digital cameras at the CES 2013 in Las Vegas. The Olympus Stylus Tough TG-630 iHS is not only compact but is also waterproof, shockproof, dustproof, crushproof and freezeproof - making it the ideal action camera. The entry-level Stylus Tough camera offers 12 megapixel resolution and a TruPic VI image processor. The durable camera body is as durable as it is intelligent, the Stylus Tough TG-630 iHS delivers high quality images even in the most challenging conditions. Besides capturing action photos, the Tough camera can also record Full HD videos. Multi-recording makes it possible to capture still photos while recording a video.

Incorporating a 5x optical zoom lens and 10x super-resolution zoom, users of the Olympus TG-630 can capture any subject into detail. The effects of camera shake is counteracted by Dual Image stabilization ensuring every picture is sharp and clear. High-Speed Sequential Shooting provides frame-by-frame replay of all the action. Advanced features like 1080p Full HD video, Backlit HDR, Multi-Motion Movie Image Stabilization and Hand-Held Starlight mean that the Olympus Stylus Tough TG-630 is packed full of technology to deliver impressive image quality regardless of your surroundings and lighting conditions.

The Olympus Stylus TG-630 digital camera comes in four stylish colors: black, white, red and blue. The Stylus Tough TG-630 sales box includes a Li-50B Lithium-Ion battery, a F-2AC AC adapter, a hand strap and Image Management software. The Olympus Tough camera will be available in March 2013 for a suggested retail price of $200 in the USA and €200 in Europe. Availability of retail prices, colors and optional Olympus accessories may vary per country.
