With the CameraWindow App from Canon, which is available as a free download, users can wirelessly connect and transfer their images or movies to both iOS and Android smartphones or tablets. The GPS module with mobile function makes it possible to merge your IXUS camera with your smartphone to record the photo locations. Wi-Fi can be activated to pair the captured images on the camera with the location data recorded from the smartphone.

The Canon IXUS digital camera offers powerful technologies, is packed into a super-slim and sleek body and will be available in a choice of four vivd colours: Grey, Silver, Red and Pink. The Canon IXUS 140 sales box includes a WS-800 wrist strap, a NB-11L battery pack, a CB-2LF battery charger, an interface cable and a CD-Rom. The IXUS camera is scheduled to be available in February for a suggested retail price of €190 in Europe.
