 CES 2013 NEWS - Canon PowerShot A2600 digital camera : Canon announces a new series of PowerShot digital cameras, among them is the easy-to-use PowerShot A2600. The new compact camera enables users to capture emotions and memories and share them in an instant. The stylish Canon PowerShot A2600 harnesses a 16.0 megapixel sensor and a Digic 4 image processor. The 28mm wide-angle lens with 5x optical zoom delivers great detail, while the built-in wireless functionality enables new options to post your photos and videos on social networking sites. A new feature on the Canon A2600 camera is the ECO Mode, that provides approximately 30% longer battery life when enabled.

The user-friendly Canon PowerShot A2600 digital camera creates high-quality images. To make shooting simple, the A2600 has been equipped with Smart Auto, once selected the camera will automatically recognize the kind of shooting scene and chooses the best settings accordingly. Digital image stabilization reduces the effect of camera shake and subject movement. A dedicated movie button enables 720p HD video recording in vivid, lifelike detail. Photos and videos captured with the Canon PowerShot A2600 can be reviewed on the 3.0-inch LCD screen and digital IS.

The PowerShot A2600 is available in five color options; black, silver, blue, red en pink and comes with a WS-800 wrist strap, a NB-11L battery pack and an CB-2LF battery charger.
