Samsung at CES 2013 : Samsung Electronics will launch its new 'Smart Hub' at CES 2013, the largest consumer electronics show in the world, which will be held in Las Vegas (Nevada) this upcoming January 8th. Smart Hub is a unique content platform for the popular Samsung Smart TV. The new Smart Hub has an updated design of the initial screen for the users to enjoy not only live broadcasts but also a variety of contents such as movies, apps, and personal pictures easily and conveniently on one TV screen. In 2013, users can look to Smart Hub for a more intuitive experience with various contents, live TV broadcasts, Video on Demand, applications and internet. All this will be available on one screen divided into 5 sections, each holding a spot for a different category.

The five categories are 'On TV' for live TV, 'Movies & Television shows' based on Video on Demand contents, 'Apps' for various Smart TV applications, 'Social' for SNS contents sharing function, 'Photos, Videos & Music' for personal digital content. One of the most anticipated features is the 'Flipping' function that allows users to browse through the five screens with Samsung’s innovative motion control function. It's like flipping through the pages of a book and it provides an easy way to select your TV program of choice more easily and with more fun. Just by accessing the Smart Hub, users can enjoy all the contents of live TV, movie, internet, and games all in one central place.
