Thanks to Motorola Mobility’s iDEN technology, the Ferrari handset offers instantaneous high performance communication, push-to-talk (PTT) radio, cellular service, internet access and messaging in a single device. Inspired by the Ferrari 458 Italy designed by Pininfarina, the Android smartphone has a unique and striking red back cover in high relief with air intakes that evoke the hood of the exclusive automobile. In addition to personalize the phone with wallpapers & ringtones, users will receive exclusive Ferrari kits, each with a key ring and car charger.

The Ferrari smartphone has many great features, including a 3.1-inch touchscreen, MP3 player, stereo Bluetooth technology, a 3.5mm stereo headset jack and a 3 megapixel digital camera. The Android smartphone also includes SWYPE technology for easy text entry and two microphones with noise cancellation technology, allowing for clearer phone conversations. The Motorola i867 Ferrari Special Edition comes with a 2GB microSD memory card, expandable up to 32GB with a card sold separately.

The Motorola Ferrari Special Edition smartphone includes the Nextel E-mail app, enabling users to configure up to 10 personal and corporate E-mail accounts. The Ferrari smartphone also includes the Nextel Contacts app, which groups contacts from social media accounts allowing interaction with them at the same time. Users also have access to relationship networks and Google Mobile services, including Google Maps for Android, Google Talk and Google Search directly on the Motorola i867 smartphone. The Motorola i867 Ferrari Special Edition will be available through Nextel sales channels for AR$ 1599,-
