Casio Exilim EX-ZR300 test videos : The EX-ZR300 is Casio’s advanced Exilim camera. The 16 megapixel camera is extremely fast and offers many functions for High Speed photography. Additionally, the Casio ZR300 is equipped with a Full High-Definition video function for recording high quality videos with stereo sound, in a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and a frame rate of 30fps. You can easily start a video recording via the special video recording button. The EX-ZR300 is equipped with a clear 3-inch LCD display for making and reviewing video recordings. The zoom functions are also available in video mode. The 12.5 optical zoom works well. I would not recommend the digital zoom, you can switch it off via the menu.

The High Speed Casio camera has various interesting video functions. The regular settings can be adjusted via the menu, such as the video quality, focusing, ISO, white balance, anti-shake, wind noise reduction and much more. The EX-ZR300 can also record High Speed films, up to a maximum speed of a mere 1000fps, in 224x64 pixels quality. You can record the fastest movements, and then play them back in ultra-slow-motion.
Casio video functions
The HDR-Art function is also available in video mode, for artsy film shots with lively and shiny colors. The Exilim EX-ZR300 is also equipped with a so-called ‘Still shot in film’ function. That means you take photos of a video fragment while you are recording it. Lately, we have seen this function in other compact cameras, but with the EX-ZR300, you can shoot a mere 7 consecutive photos, at a speed of 10fps. This way you can not only film the action, but you can also capture it in photos at the same time.
Sharing Casio Exilim videos
In the current social media era, sharing photos and videos has become increasingly more important. The Casio EX-ZR300 is equipped with a so-called 'YouTube Ready' video function, which is found in the Best Shot menu, in order to easily share videos with friends, or the whole world, on YouTube. By downloading the ‘YouTube Uploader’ software via the Casio website and installing it on your PC, you can easily upload your recorded videos to YouTube.
