 New Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone coming up : Since various reports appeared in Korea end of October, rumors concerning a new flagship device from Samsung have only increased. Time to take a closer look at the Galaxy S4 specifications. Like the other Galaxy smartphones, the Samsung S4 will run on the Android operating system, in combination with the Samsung Touchwiz user interface. For a smooth operation, the Galaxy S4 will be equipped with a quad-core 2Ghz Cortex A15 processor. It is expected that the display will also be upgraded, in terms of size and resolution. The Samsung Galaxy S4 will likely feature a 5-inch Super AMOLED display, with 1080p HD resolution.

Samsung Galaxy S4 specifications
The current flagship model is already equipped with a high quality digital camera. With the Galaxy S4 Samsung seems to put a little extra to it. The smartphone is likely to feature a 13 megapixel digital camera with autofocus and a LED flash. Also recording Full HD videos @ 30fps belongs to the possibilities. The high performance processor and additional features will also demand a more powerful battery. It is therefore expected that the battery will also undergo an update.
Samsung Galaxy S4 price & availability
In first instance the S4 will be put to market in two colors; Titanium Grey and Sapphire Black. Over time it is not unlikely that more colors will turn up, like with the Galaxy S3. Various websites report that the official introduction of the Samsung Galaxy S4 will take place at CES in January 2013. We believe that the CES will be too early and not the correct location for the Galaxy S4 launch. The MWC in February seems to be a better event for the S4. The S2 was also introduced during this event, two years ago. Despite the many additional features, we don't expect the Galaxy S4 price to be higher than that of the Galaxy S3. |
