SamsungVerizon presents Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere 2 : A new Android phone has landed on earth. The Stratosphere 2 features a full QWERTY keyboard and operates on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Galaxy Stratosphere 2 slider phone offers a number of interesting entertainment features. Users can purchase or rent high quality movies from the Samsung Media Hub that they can watch on the 4-inch Super AMOLED touch display for the best mobile entertainment. Like the Galaxy S3, this handset also supports the S-Beam function. S-Beam uses the 'Near Field Communications' protocol to easily share pictures and videos with other smartphones or tablets.

With Verizon’s 4G LTE connection, everything on your smartphone will run faster and looks smoother. The 4G LTE functionality guarantees amazing fast downloads and your connection can be shared with up to ten other mobile devices using the Mobile Hotspot function. And with the full QWERTY keyboard, text messaging will be easier too. Besides the hardware, the Galaxy Stratosphere 2 slider phone is also pre-loaded with a variety of useful Android apps. On the business side, the Verizon smartphone supports various security features like Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.

The Samsung Stratosphere 2 is equipped with a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.4 megapixel front camera. The slider phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and a 1800mAh Lithion Ion battery. Other camera features are; optical zoom, digital zoom, autofocus, several capture modes, support for Geo-tagging, photo editing modes, camcorder function, DivX video support, High-Definition movie recording, HD playback, TV out connection and online image uploading.
