 Google Chrome 23 browser update : The time that Google was only a search engine is far behind us, nowadays the American company specializes in just about everything related to internet and technology. In September 2008, Google launched its own web browser, Google Chrome. This week Google launched an update of its popular Google Chrome browser, version 23. Advantages over previous versions include noticing when Google Chrome is used on a laptop. The Google Chrome 23 web browser enables GPU-accelerated video decoding, which leads to increased battery life. In fact, users will experience up to 25% energy saving on a laptop with Chrome 23.

Chrome 23 with Do Not Track
Google Chrome is the last of the major web browsers that add the Do Not Track functionality. With this feature, Internet users can express that they do not want to be followed online and do not want to receive targeted ads. Google has always been skeptical about this, since Google uses this information to personalize the search content. By default this feature will be turned off in Google Chrome 23, but the Do Not Track function is easy to activate.
