NikonNikon D5200 test : Nikon introduced a worthy successor to the 16 megapixel Nikon D5100 SLR camera. Equipped with a 24.1 megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor, the Nikon D5200 delivers exceptionally vivid and detailed photos with impressive deep colors. For image processing, the D5200 is equipped with the new and powerful Expeed 3 processor. The auto focus system is also taken in hand, the 39-point AF system ensures accurate focusing. The camera offers increased speed in terms of continuous shooting, the Nikon D5200 can capture 5fps and offers an ISO range of 100-6400, expandable to ISO 25,600. The camera has a good grip and a bright 7,5-inch LCD monitor with 921,000 pixels. The swivel monitor can be flipped, tilted or turned.

The D5200 will be available just before Christmas, in the colors black, red and bronze. The suggested retail price of the Nikon D5200 body is € 800,- Euro. You can also buy the D5200 in combination with the AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm kit lens for a price of € 915,- Euro.
