 Apple iPad 4 tablet : Besides the long-awaited iPad mini, Apple also announced the iPad 4 last week, as a successor to the only seven months old iPad 3. The fourth generation iPad features an amazing 9.7-inch Retina display and has a powerful A6X chip, that delivers up to twice the performance of the older A5x chip. In addition, the Apple iPad 4 incorporates an improved FaceTime HD camera, includes ultrafast wireless performance -compared to previous iPad models- and offers support for additional LTE carriers worldwide. The iPad 4 comes with Apple´s latest operating system; iOS 6.

Apple iPad 4 features
The Retina display on the iPad 4 makes everything look crisp and lifelike. Text is razor sharp. Colours are vibrant. Photos and videos are rich with detail. All thanks to its 3.1 million pixels. In addition, the Apple iPad 4 features a new FaceTime HD camera for video calling and there is a second 5 megapixel iSight camera available to capture still images. According to Apple, the new iPad 4 tablet delivers about 10 hours of battery life.
Apps for the iPad 4
The Apple iPad 4 can run over 700,000 apps, all available for download via the App Store. More than 275,000 apps are specifically designed for the iPad, from a wide range of categories including books, games, business, news, sports, health, reference and travel. The Apple iPad 4 also supports the more than 5,000 newspapers and magazines offered in Newsstand and the more than 1.5 million books available on the iBookstore.
iBooks app for the iPad 4
The iTunes Store puts the world’s most popular online music, TV and movie store at your fingertips with a catalog of over 26 million songs, over 190,000 TV episodes and over 45,000 films. The new iBooks app for the iPad 4 lets users read ebooks in over 40 languages. iBooks also lets users experience an entirely new kind of ebook that’s dynamic, engaging and truly interactive. Ebooks created with Apple’s new iBooks Author offer gorgeous, fullscreen ebooks with interactive animations, diagrams, photos, videos, custom fonts, mathematical expressions and much more.
Apple iPad 4 WiFi price & availability
The iPad 4 Wi-Fi model will be worldwide available on Friday, November 2 in black or white. The WiFi + Cellular models will retail a few weeks later.
