NokiaNokia Location & Commerce for Volkswagen cars : Nokia announced that its Location & Commerce business is supplying Navteq navigation Maps and data to the Volkswagen Group for its new Discover Media infotainment and Discover Pro infotainment car systems. This significant move means Nokia navigation systems for brands throughout the Volkswagen Group will be powered by Location & Commerce content. Both the Discover Media and Discover Pro will offer global, premium quality Navteq Maps. The decision by the Volkswagen car Group to implement Nokia navigation content in car infotainment systems across the Volkswagen Group clearly underlines Nokia’s leadership in the automotive location space.
