NikonNikon D600 photo gallery : Last month at the Photokina, Nikon introduced a new Full Frame digital reflex camera. The D600 is the smallest and lightest Full-Frame DSLR camera Nikon has ever crafted. The compact D600 is equipped with a 24.3 megapixel FX image sensor, that was previously found only in professional cameras, with which Nikon will give many more photographers the chance to explore the advantages of full-frame photography. We were given the opportunity by Nikon to take the new D600 camera for a field test. The Nikon D600 sample photos are taken in combination with the AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 ED lens and the optional Speedlight SB-900 flash unit.

We can be brief about the image quality of the Nikon D600. The new SLR camera delivers brilliant photos, with a very good signal to noise ratio and a ISO range of 100-6400, that can be extended to ISO 25.600 and down to ISO 50. In addition, the D600 is equipped with a very precise 39-point autofocus system and a high performance viewfinder with a 100% frame coverage. You can shoot stunning shallow depth of field photos with the Nikon D600, with razor-sharp and colourful details and a beautiful bokeh. It is very enjoyable to take photos with the Nikon D600. Due to its light weight and compact design, you can easily carry this Full-Frame SLR camera with you.

We have taken the Nikon D600 photos in combination with the AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 ED lens. The original photo can be downloaded via the link under the sample photo. The Nikon D600 body is currently available for a suggested retail price of €2.150 Euro.
