 Olympus PEN E-PL5 test pictures : The PEN Lite E-PL5 is the new system camera from Olympus. This 16.1 megapixel camera is equipped with imposing technologies that have been adopted from Micro Four Thirds top model, the Olympus OM-D. The Olympus PEN E-PL5 is equipped with the same large Live MOS sensor and the TruePic VI image processor. In combination with the accurate Fast-AF autofocus system, also adopted from the OM-D, the Olympus E-PL5 produces sharp and vivid high resolution pictures, regardless of the circumstances. In addition, the Olympus PEN E-PL5 offers a tilting and touch-sensitive display, an effective built-in image stabilizer and 12 creative filters.

Olympus PEN E-PL5 test pictures
The touch display of the Olympus PEN E-PL5 contributes to an easy and user-friendly operation. Whether the subject is situated well above your head or just above the ground, users of the PEN E-PL5 can take pictures from any angle thanks to the 3" tiltable LCD display. Also, the new Olympus E-PL5 system camera is equipped with a handy timer feature, so you can make up to 10 photos with an adjustable time interval. Thanks to FlashAir compatibility, images taken with the Olympus PEN E-PL5 can be transferred wirelessly from your smartphone to social networking sites, enabling you to share your pictures in an instant with friends and family.

So far the specifications of the new Olympus PEN E-PL5 camera. Olympus Japan has published a series of Olympus PEN E-PL5 test pictures enabling us to judge the quality of this new system camera. Olympus PEN E-PL5 review
The Olympus PEN E-PL5 comes in the colors black, silver and white. The suggested retail price of the PEN Lite E-PL5 is set at €700,- Euro, including the M.Zuiko Digital 14-42mm kit lens. The camera is expected to be available from end of October 2012.
