Samsung NX20 test videos : The Samsung NX20 is the flagship within Samsung’s current NX system camera line. Next to many manual and automatic functions, the Samsung NX20 is equipped with Wi-Fi and GPS functionality. The Samsung NX20 camera has a new 20.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that also makes it possible to record videos in Full HD quality. This is an improvement compared with its predecessor, the Samsung NX11, which could only record up to a maximum of 720p HD videos. You can start a video recording at any time by pushing the red video button on the back of the camera. Additionally, there is a separate video mode available with a series of film settings.
Samsung NX20 Full HD videos
The Samsung NX20s video quality is, just as the photo quality, very good. However, zooming in and out is clearly audible in the video recordings. The mirror-less CMOS-image sensor ensures a precise autofocus and the image stabilization is also active in video mode. Additionally, most filter effects are available while recording video. Just like other NX cameras, you can fade in and out of videos with the Samsung NX20. You can even choose whether you only want to fade in, fade out, of both. Additionally, videos can be played back at a faster speed, up to a maximum of 20x via the Multi Motion function. This function and many other settings, such as the white balance and ISO, can be adjusted in the video menu.
Samsung NX20 video lens
Within the Samsung lens assortment, there is the 18-200mm i-Function lens, among others. This lens was especially designed for recording fluid Full HD videos with a NX system camera. The sound that is produced with the autofocus is eliminated. This allows for noiseless zooming and noiseless focusing. This Samsung lens is available separately for a retail price of €500 Euro.
