AppleApple iPhone 5 photo gallery : With the new iPhone 5, Apple introduces the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever. The iPhone 5 smartphone runs on the latest operating system from Apple, iOS 6. Furthermore, the iPhone 5 features a 4" Retina display, an 8 megapixel iSight camera and enhanced audio capabilities. Additionally, the iPhone 5 incorporates a new lightning connector, a more powerful battery, and offers support for ultrafast wireless standards. To ensure fast performance, the iPhone 5 integrates a new A6 chip. The iPhone 5 comes in two color combinations; white/silver and black/anthracite. The new iPhone 5 will be available from mid-September in a 16GB, 32GB and a 64GB version.

The new Apple smartphone features a new 8 megapixel iSight camera, offering better optical performance than its predecessor, the iPhone 4S. The new iSight camera in the iPhone 5 features a sapphire crystal lens cover that is thinner and more durable than standard glass with the ability to provide crystal clear photos. It is also possible to shoot panoramic photos, up to 28 megapixels. In addition, the iPhone 5 camera offers improved image stabilization, new video features and advanced face detection technologies.
