 Fujifilm X-E1 test pictures : With the announcement of the Fujifilm X-E1 system camera Fujifilm introduces the little brother of its acclaimed Fujifilm X-Pro1 camera. The new Fujifilm X-E1 offers a more compact camera body, while incorporating the same 16 megapixels APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor as the X-Pro1. A faster autofocus system helps the user to take sharp action shots in a split-second. Furthermore, the Fujifilm X-E1 is equipped with a high resolution 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder and a built-in flash. In addition, the X-E1 camera is compatible with X-mount lenses. The Fujifilm X-E1 comes standard with the new XF-18-55mm kit lens.

The 16.3 megapixel Fujifilm X-E1 delivers high image quality, a unique color filter array makes that there is no need for a low pass filter, to still produce sharp pictures with low noise. Its larger brother, the X-Pro1 is equipped with a hybrid viewfinder, while the X-E1 boosts an electronic viewfinder. Besides a high resolution OLED viewfinder the Fujifilm X-E1 features a 2.8" 460k-dot LCD display. Apart from making vivid pictures, the Fujifilm X-E1 is also able to record Full HD 1080p videos.

Fujifilm X-E1 review
The new system camera from Fujifilm comes in the colors black and silver. The Fujifilm X-E1 body will carry a suggested retail price of €900,- Euro / $1000 USD. The Fujifilm X-E1 with XF-18-55mm kit lens will cost €1.300 Euro / $1.400 USD. The camera and kit lens will be available from November 2012.
