Incorporating a 16 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, the Nikon Coolpix S6400 delivers vivid pictures even when the lighting conditions are far from ideal, such as indoors or at night. The Nikon Coolpix S6400 features a Nikkor lens with 12x optical zoom and focal lengths from 25mm wide-angle to 300mm telephoto. In addition, the camera is equipped with a range of image stabilization functions for beautiful, crisp photos both day and night. For the operation, the Nikon Coolpix S6400 features a clear 3" touch screen display.

With a camera body of only 19.8mm, the Nikon Coolpix S6400 is a super slim camera that is easy to carry with you. Combined with 12x optical zoom, a touch screen display and an intelligent autofocus system, anyone will be able to take beautiful, sharp pictures whenever and wherever you want. The Nikon Coolpix S6400 is equipped with various automatic functions that make shooting easier. There are 20 scene modes, a simple panorama function and a 3D shooting mode. Users can capture multiple shots in quick succession, and the Nikon Coolpix S6400 also offers a Full HD video function.

The camera is expected to be available from end of September 2012.
