 Nikon Coolpix P7700 test photos : Last week Nikon introduced a new digital compact camera to its well-known Coolpix line-up. The Nikon Coolpix P7700 is a camera that belongs to the advanced Performance series of Nikon. The Coolpix P7700 is equipped with a 12 megapixel CMOS sensor with backside illumination, a bright Nikkor lens with 7.1x optical zoom and a titling LCD display. With the Nikon Coolpix P7700 you can make photos both in JPEG and in RAW file format. You can either fly on autopilot as well as take the control entirely in your own hands, through the familiar PSAM exposure modes. There is also a Full HD video mode included in the Nikon Coolpix P7700.

The bright Nikkor lens offers a broad 28-200mm focal range and a fast f/2.0-4.0 aperture. The advanced vibration reduction system reduces the effect of camera shake and lets you use shutter speeds that are up to four stops slower. The fast EXPEED C2 image processing system provides enhanced image quality and movie recording. Together with the highly sensitive CMOS sensor the camera delivers sharp, detailed and noise-free images, even at high ISO.
