NikonNikon 1 accessories announced : The new Nikon 1 J2 system camera is available in a range of vibrant colours that complement the minimal design. Select models boast brushed metal and textured finishes. Feeling bolder than black? More vibrant than white? You can now choose from 6 different colours, including silver, red, pink, and orange, and have a system camera that is the envy of every photographer around. In addition to the new camera, Nikon has also introduced several new accessories to complement your camera system. Like the F-mount adapter which can be attached to the camera’s 1-mount to let you use a Nikkor SLR lens. Trying out different lenses is a great way to experiment with how you shoot a scene, and if you use AF-S and AF-I lenses, you can still make full use of the Nikon 1 autofocus system.

Also added to the Nikon 1 camera system is a slim 2.5x zoom lens, the 1 Nikkor 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6. The 11-27.5mm focal range easily covers most day-to-day situations, while the compact design makes it easy to keep the lens attached to your camera and still slip it into your pocket or bag. When that photo- or movie-moment comes along, you can be ready in an instant. Just rotate the Nikon lens to switch your system camera on and retract it to switch the camera off. The 1 Nikkor 11-27.5mm lens is available to purchase in black or white. The 1 Nikkor 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6 lens is available right after the Photokina 2012 for a suggested retail price of $190 USD.
