CanonCanon EOS M camera system : The new Canon EOS M camera system satisfies demand for the best picture quality in a compact digital camera body that's easy to use. The Canon EOS M system has been developed alongside the new EOS 650D DSLR camera and shares many components, including the 18 megapixel APS-C sensor with on-chip phase detection AF. The removal of the mirrorbox assembly and viewfinder allows the camera to be around 50% lighter and significantly smaller while enabling the same high level of image quality. Quality extends to renowned EOS performance features including outstanding low-light shooting with an ISO range of 100 -12800 expandable to 25600 (H) and 4.3 frame-per-second high-speed burst shooting (One Shot AF).

EOS M

EOS M compact camera system
We have taken the time to develop a EOS M compact camera system that achieves the desired size, weight and simplicity without any compromise in EOS M quality. In Creative Auto Mode, the EOS M makes creative shooting easy by allowing inexperienced photographers to control certain elements of the image. Existing EOS M digital SLR camera users will also welcome the option of a compact camera body to use with their existing EF and EF-S lenses as the situation requires.

The Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 STM ultra compact pancake lens is ideal for shooting still scenes such as family portraits or travel locations, while the Canon EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM standard zoom lens provides a great zoom range for general use.
