In addition, the advanced Sony CyberShot HX20V is equipped with a 50p Full HD (1920x1080) video mode. You can push the red Movie button on the back to start a video recording at any time. There is also a separate video mode on the settings dial. This is ideal for adjusting video settings, such as brightness. The image stabilization function, called the Movie SteadyShot can be adjusted here: 'standard' for average movement and 'act' for active movements. The 20x optical zoom can also be used when making a video recording.
