 Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 system camera : Early next week Panasonic will most likely introduce a new portfolio of digital cameras, including the compact Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 system camera. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 features a very compact body, just like its predecessor, the DMC-G3. In comparison, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 has more rounded edges. In addition, the new Panasonic DMC-G5 will be equipped with the same 16 megapixel image sensor as the one year old DMC-G3. There was little speculation that the Panasonic G5 would boost the same sensor as the Olympus E-M5. This sensor offers a better dynamic range. Whether the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 can compensate this with new advanced technologies seems to stay unclear until next week.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5
Besides the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 system camera, we also expect a new Panasonic lens with a range of 45-150mm. Maybe a pancake lens? In addition to a new system camera and a Micro Four Thirds lens we also expect some new Panasonic compact cameras, among them is the advanced Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7, as a successor to the DMC-LX5. The Panasonic DMC-LX7 will most likely feature a new, larger sensor over its predecessor. Unfortunately the information about the new Panasonic camera models is very poor, you may expect to hear more next week!
