SamsungSamsung Galaxy S3 smartphone : There has long been speculated about a new high-end Galaxy smartphone from Samsung. Earlier on we assumed to receive more official information about the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S2 at the Mobile World Congress. Meanwhile, two months have passed and there is still no official statement from Samsung, at least until recently… yesterday Samsung launched a teaser website in which they indicate the launch of a new Samsung Galaxy smartphone on the 3rd of May at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in London. Most likely this concerns the very promising and long awaited Samsung Galaxy S3 Android smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy teaser website shows very little information on the new Galaxy S3 smartphone, actually it is more an announcement of the launch date. There is also a kick handed out to Apple, by showing a herd of sheep, which refer to the so-called iSheeps, or Apple fans. Nevertheless, there is already a lot of information available about the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Samsung Galaxy S3 features
Just like all the other Galaxy smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S3 will run on the Google Android platform. It is expected that the Galaxy S3 runs on the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The Samsung Galaxy S3 will also integrate an improved processor, instead of the fast dual-core processor integrated into the Galaxy S2, the Samsung Galaxy S3 seems to get equipped with a quad-core processor for an even faster operation. In addition, there is talk of a 12 megapixel camera with a huge image sensor, for high quality photos and videos. Previously there was hope for a FOLED display, but recent sources report about a bright 4.65-inch HD Super Amoled display.
