Nikon D800 Digital SLR camera receives TIPA Award : Nikon Europe announced that the Nikon D800 DSLR camera has received a TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) award, TIPA, Europe’s leading image press association, has given the prize for ‘Best D-SLR Expert’ to the Nikon D800 Digital SLR camera. The TIPA jury comments: "Dubbed a “multimedia” camera, the Nikon D800 DSLR offers an amazing 24x36mm (full frame) 36 Megapixel sensor that allows photographers to capture images of impressive quality. The image file size begins to rival medium format digital camera back output and allows photographers to print their images using large format sizes".
