SonySony DSC-W690 digital camera : Sony announces a new stylish and slim CyberShot digital cameras, representing the ultimate in versatility for the compact camera segment. The 16 megapixel Sony CyberShot DSC-W690 is the world's thinnest 10x optical zoom digital camera, slimmer than any other 10x compact camera currently offered in market. The exceptionally thin design of the Sony DSC-W690 is largely attributed to the new "Advanced Aspherical" lens element, which allows the lens unit to be drastically smaller than those in previous 10x zoom CyberShot cameras while still producing very highly detailed, accurate photos. The Sony CyberShot DSC-W690 camera will be available in silver, black, red and blue this May for approximately $180 USD / €140 Euro.
