 New Canon 5D Mark III digital SLR camera : Canon is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its well-known EOS SLR camera system with the introduction of the professional EOS 5D Mark III digital SLR camera. Building on the high performance of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, the new Canon DSLR camera offers a greater resolution, improved speed and extended creative functionalities for both still pictures and Full HD videos. The 22.3 megapixel full frame Canon EOS 5D Mark III has been improved in almost all aspects. The Canon 5D Mark III can shoot 6 frames per second, while a 61-point AF system and 63-zone metering provide greater speed, flexibility and accuracy. Last but not least, the Canon EOS 5D Mark III incorporates the new Digic 5+ image processor.

The professional Canon EOS 5D Mark III digital reflex camera offers a comprehensive range of upgraded specifications, including some of the features built into the revolutionary Canon EOS 1D X. The camera provides improved flexibility, handling, durability and performance, making the Canon EOS 5D Mark III ideal for the growing number of photographers shooting both still photos and Full HD videos.
22 megapixel Canon EOS 5D Mark III
The newly developed 22.3 megapixel full-frame sensor of the EOS 5D Mark III offers increased resolution and a finer detail, enabling the photographer to capture more of the scene, from sweeping landscapes to perfect portraits. Higher speed continuous shooting also offers expanded creative possibilities. With an increased 8-channel read out, the Canon EOS 5D Mark III comfortably handles a maximum full resolution speed of up to 6fps in bursts of 18 RAW images or over 16,000 JPEGs, without the need for additional accessories. Additionally, the Canon EOS 5D Mark III captures beautiful photos even in low light conditions, thanks to an ISO range of 100-25,600, expandable to 102,400. Auto focus system of the EOS 5D Mark III
By utilizes the same 61-point wide-area AF system as the flagship EOS 1D X, the new EOS 5D Mark III provides exceptional sensitivity, speed and precision. One of the most advanced AF systems currently available, the auto focus system features an impressive 41 cross-type points and 5 dual cross-type points, providing unsurpassed accuracy across the frame. The customizable AF pre-sets introduced are also available on the Canon EOS 5D Mark III, helping the capture of traditionally challenging subjects, and providing additional reliability in situations where subject movement can be unpredictable. The Canon EOS 5D Mark III will be already be available at the end of this month. The EOS 5D Mark III body price has been set at €3.300 Euro / £3.000 GBP / $3.500 USD including VAT. The Canon EOS 5D Mark IIII is compatible with a wide range of EOS accessories, including the newly launched high performance Speedlite 600EX-RT TTL flash.
