SonySony Xperia P smartphone : Just one day prior to the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, Sony Mobile unveils a new addition to its Xperia NXT smartphone line-up. The Sony Xperia P stands out with its distinctive, minimalistic design, delivering outstanding screen brightness using Sony´s WhiteMagic display technology. The Sony Xperia P is the second Android smartphone from Sony, offering an ultra-bright viewing experience and a 1Ghz dual core processor. The Sony Xperia P will become available in the second quarter of this year. Sony also announced that the recently launched Sony Xperia S, the ultimate HD smartphone, is now shipping globally, with first sales in the Sony Style store in Barcelona during Mobile World Congress.

The Sony Xperia NXT series, including the Sony Xperia P smartphone, have a look that is instantly recognizable. The Sony Xperia smartphones have intriguing design features including the "transparent element", a band that encircles the base of the phone and also integrates invisible antenna components. The Sony Xperia P boasts Reality Display powered by Mobile Bravia Engine for razor-sharp clarity, along with fast capture to take the camera from sleep to snap in a little over a second with a single key press. The Sony Xperia P comes with a powerful 1 GHz dual-core processor for super-fast performance.
