OlympusOlympus E-M5 test photos : A tremendous speed thanks to an advanced auto focus system, incredible sharpness thanks to the first 5-axis stabilization system in the world and a great field of view thanks to the revolutionary electronic viewfinder. We are talking about the new Olympus E-M5. This 16 megapixel system camera is the first OM-D camera from Olympus after 40 years. The Olympus E-M5 takes pictures at a rate of 9 frames per second, also the number of creative filters have been expanded. We have been able to test this extraordinary camera with impressive specifications a full day long in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, during the Olympus Europe event.

The Olympus E-M5 is compatible with all Micro Four Thirds lenses, making the camera usable in virtually any situation. When you get a little accustomed to the Olympus E-M5 you will notice that the camera is not only incredible fast, it also offers many creative features. The innovative image stabilization system makes it easier than ever to capture sharp pictures. The new Live MOS sensor provides good noise suppression and the solid dust- and splash-proof body fits comfortably in the hand. The Olympus E-M5 test sample we used was not a full production model, the E-M5 will get a firmware update before being put on market.
