New Nikon D800 pictures : Two months ago we already reported on the upcoming Nikon D800. We hoped to see this new beauty on the CES Show in Las Vegas last month, unfortunately this proved to be a little too early. Although Nikon treat us on to the also awaited Nikon D4, we did not hear anything official yet on the Nikon D800. But with the CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show just in front of us, starting at the end of this week in Japan, we will definitely hear more about this completely renewed SLR camera within 24 hours from now! Already some real Nikon D800 pictures leaked on the web. In fact, the full Nikon D800 press release was already available on a Brazilian website. Time to go over the details of this new full frame SLR camera again.

Nikon D800 pictures
Although not shown in the Nikon D800 pictures, the new SLR camera will have a magnesium alloy construction, with full weather protection. As already mentioned earlier, the Nikon D800 will boost a 36.3 megapixel Full Frame sensor, able to produce clear 7360x4912 resolution pictures. The long awaited Nikon D800 will have a sensitivity range of ISO 100 - 6400 and will be equipped with a built-in flash. Besides taking breathtaking still pictures, the Nikon D800 SLR camera will be able to record 1080p Full HD video at 30fps.

The Nikon D800 will incorporate a 3.2" LCD display with 921k dots to frame and review your pictures perfectly. Pictures captured with the Nikon D800 can be stored on either a CF card or a SD card.
