CES 2012 Show - Motorola Droid XYBOARD tablets : Motorola and Verizon Wireless have announced two new Motorola tablets to the popular Droid family. The Motorola Droid XYBOARD tablets deliver new and unparalleled mobile experiences on America's fastest 4G network. The Motorola Droid tablets present new options for consumers looking to stay connected, productive and entertained while on the go. The Motorola tablets are equipped with 1.2GHz dual-core processors and 1GB of internet RAM. They both feature 'MotoCast' for remote access to non DRM-protected music, images, movies and documents stored on Personal Computers.

Motorola Droid tablets
Thinner than an AAA battery, and lighter than a paperback book, the new Motorola Droid tablets feature Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb, HD colour displays with wide viewing angles, magnesium-reinforced bodies with an aluminum casing and portable form factors. Both Android tablets offer robust 'Business' features, including enterprise-grade security and special apps such as Quick Office HD for document editing and creation, Citrix Go To Meeting for productivity and collaboration and Google Talk for smooth and clear video conferencing. The Motorola Droid tablets are equipped with scratch-resistant displays that use Corning Gorilla Glass to stay in perfect condition and a coating of water-repellent nanoparticles to make them resistant to accidental splashes.

The Motorola Droid XYBOARD 10.1 tablet is optimized for productivity with stylus support for fast and precise note taking and mark-up using a precision tip stylus, included in the retail sales package. The Motorola Droid XYBOARD 8.2 tablet is perfect for mobile multimedia entertainment with 2.1 adaptive - virtual - surround sound and a vivid HD display for enjoying movies or serious mobile gaming. Powered by Verizon 4G LTE network, both Motorola tablets reach incredible speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and amazing upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps within 4G LTE coverage areas.
Motorola tablet prices
The new Motorola Droid tablets will be available in Verizon Wireless Stores and online via the Verizon Wireless website this month. The Motorola XYBOARD 10.1 will be available in three models; 16GB $530 USD, 32GB $630 USD and 64GB $730 USD. The Motorola XYBOARD 8.2 will be available in two models; 16GB $430 USD and 32GB $530 USD. All Motorola tablets comes with a new two-year customer agreement. Consumers that purchase a Motorola Droid XYBOARD tablet need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband data plan starting at $30 USD monthly access for 2GB of data.
