CES 2012 News - Panasonic Lumix SZ digital cameras : At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Panasonic introduced two new compact cameras to its popular SZ (Super Zoom) camera series. The new Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7 and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ1 cameras combine a high-quality 10x optical zoom with a 25mm wide angle Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens, in a compact camera body, making it easy to carry with you during adventure and holiday trips. Both Panasonic SZ cameras are compact in size, but offer features that are typically only available in bigger cameras.
Panasonic SZ cameras The Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7 is a 14.1 megapixel camera that is able to record Full HD 1920x1080 60i videos and features a fast focus response time of 0.1 second, making it easy to capture stunning pictures. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ1 is a 16.1 megapixel camera and can record 720p HD movies. Both Panasonic SZ cameras are very easy to use thanks to Panasonic’s intelligent auto mode which automatically chooses the best camera settings for natural, true-life photographs.
Panasonic SZ camera features The Panasonic Lumix SZ7 and Lumix SZ1 feature two new photo modes; Miniature Photo Effect and Panorama Photo Mode. In Miniature Effect mode, peripherals are defocused while saturation and contrast is emphasized to make the picture like a diorama. Panorama Shot mode makes it possible to capture a horizontal or vertical panoramic image by taking consecutive shots and then overlaying the pictures for the effect of a great panorama photo. Both Panasonic SZ cameras feature the popular iA (Intelligent Auto) photo mode. In iA mode, a range of technologies are automatically engaged and the Panasonic camera chooses the best setting based on the shooting environment.
Creative Digital Photography Furthermore, both Panasonic SZ cameras feature 'Creative Retouch' which includes six photo filters; Toy Effect, Soft Focus Dynamic Monochrome, High Key, Expressive and Retro look, each of the photo filters will give your pictures a more creative look. The Panasonic SZ cameras also feature an 'Auto Retouch' photo function that adjusts contrast and brightness to give the pictures a different look - all done with a simple press of the button.
