Apple iPhone 5 smartphone : As soon as the word 'Apple' gets mentioned everyone is on top of it and despite all current iPhone smartphones look very similar, there are strong speculations about the new iPhone 5 for over half a year already. When the iPhone 4S was introduced back in October 2011 everyone seemed to be a bit surprised. But now seems, time has finally come for the new Apple iPhone 5. Several Apple smartphone samples are currently being tested extensively. Once at that stage it can never take much longer for the wider audience to enjoy the new iPhone 5 smartphone. About time to take a closer look at the specifications of the new Apple iPhone 5.

Apple iPhone 5
We do not expect the Apple iPhone 5 to feature a curved screen, like some other resources mention. We do believe that it will cover a larger screen than the previous iPhone models. Likely it will be a 4-inch Retina display, in response to the increasing competition in the smartphone display technology. Like Samsung, who just integrated a 4.65" HD Super AMOLED screen into the new Galaxy Nexus, not to mention the new type of display that will probably appear on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3. It is expected that the iPhone 5 will run on the new Apple iOS 5 operating system and naturally it will support newly launched services like iCloud.

iPhone 5 4G LTE smartphone
It has been said that the A5 Dual Core processor will be replaced by a A6 Dual Core processor, making the Apple iPhone 5 significantly faster than its predecessor. No less interesting is the support for the 4G LTE network from Verizon Wireless and AT&T. The 4G LTE wireless technology is 10 times faster than the older 3G network, this allows users to share photos and videos instantly via social media sites like Facebook and YouTube.

Apple iPhone 5 photo & video
Talking about photos and videos, the Apple iPhone 5 will feature a Full HD 1080p video function, just like the iPhone 4S. The digital camera will most likely be upgraded from 8 megapixels to a 10 megapixel resolution camera. All these new extras are welcome, but will require the necessary battery capacity. If Apple does not want the iPhone 5 to have a shorter battery life than its predecessor, the phone must be equipped with a new, larger battery. And this just may affect the size of the new Apple smartphone….

Apple iPhone 5 availability
Like last year, the Apple WWDC (Apple Worldwide Developers Conference) seems to be scheduled for June. This just might be the appropriate moment to launch the Apple iPhone 5 officially. We expect the Apple iPad 3 to be announced before that time, probably in March, this tablet will undoubtedly be the first Apple product to support the 4G LTE network. |
