 CES 2012 - Casio Exilim EX-ZR200 compact digital camera : Casio has unveiled a new flagship model in its popular Exilim camera range; The Casio Exilim EX-ZR200. This new Exilim camera features an 12.5 x optical zoom lens capable for 1920x1080 (30fps) HD video recording, 16.1 Megapixels and a large 3-inch TFT color LCD (460800 dots). Casio is well known as a pioneer in the digital camera market, and the new Casio EX-ZR200 introduces a whole new world for compact digital cameras. As the new flagship camera in the Exilim line-up, the ZR200 uses Casio’s own high-speed imaging technology to achieve new heights in camera performance, effortlessly taking beautiful photographs at any time.

Casio Exilim EX-ZR200 features
The Premium Auto Pro function incorporates all the features of Premium Auto mode-which automatically analyzes the shooting scene to choose the best camera settings and perform image processing-while making it even better. Premium Auto Pro can now automatically combine pictures from high-speed continuous shooting according to shooting conditions, to create gorgeous digital photographs. Users of the Casio Exilim EX-ZR200 camera can easily take sophisticated photos at the press of the shutter button, thanks to the automatic activation of functions such as HDR technology for high-contrast conditions, High Speed Night Scene mode for night photos, and High Speed Anti Shake for zoom pictures.
Creative digital photography
The Casio Exilim camera also comes with Casio’s HDR-Art photo function, which creates impressive artistic pictures with just a press of the button. The Blurred Background photo function processes pictures to make a soft background that accentuates the subject, and the manual shooting function gives users control over shooting parameters. As one expects from a flagship camera, the Casio EX-ZR200 delivers advanced ease of use that raises that bar for functionality in a compact digital camera.

The 24mm wide-angle 12.5x optical zoom lens offering zoom power equivalent to a maximum of 25x optical zoom with Casio's Multi Frame SR Zoom, which actually combines a number of images to maintain the quality needed for high-resolution digital photography. The Casio ZR200 combines continuous images taken with high-speed burst shooting when the user is moving the camera, enabling powerful ultra-wide-angle photographs. Users can choose wide-angle shooting modes equivalent to 14mm or 18mm.
Casio Exilim EX-ZR200 price & availability
The Casio Exilim ZR200 digital compact camera will be available for retail around April 2012. You can purchase this Casio camera in several vibrant colours; Black, White, Red and Blue at a suggested retail price of $380 USD. (In Europe this camera will be available beginning of February 2012 for €270 Euro including taxes). Availability of colours and optional Exilim accessories may differ depending on the country.
