Performance is nothing without a save space to store your data and due to the development of digital cameras, smartphones and media platforms, files are getting larger every day, increasing the need for bigger storage. Despite the recent trend of cloud storage, local data storage is still preferred among notebook users. To meet these needs the Series 5 Samsung Ultrabook 14-inch offers up to 1TB storage capacity ensuring that users never need to carry a external storage device with them.

"Based on in-depth market research and consumer surveys, we invented a new type of Ultrabook which will change the perception of Ultrabooks among consumers. Our findings indicate that consumers demand much more than just a thin and light notebook; they want better overall performance and user storage on a daily basis, as digital files are becoming larger.", Said Neil Sawyer, Head of IT Marketing. "The new Samsung Ultrabook Series 5 will be the first to answer these consumer demands. The heavily competitive and fast changing media environment demands for a portable computer that will meet these requirements and that is why we present the Samsung Series 5 Ultrabook."
