 CES 2012 - Casio Exilim EX-ZS6 digital compact camera : At the yearly Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas (NV), Casio has introduced four new digital cameras in the EX-Zoom line-up for 2012. New models presented at CES include the Casio Exilim EX-ZS150, Casio Exilim EX-ZS20, Casio Exilim EX-ZS12 and the Casio Exilim EX-ZS6 Zoom cameras. The new Casio Exilim EX-ZS6 digital camera features a 5x optical zoom lens and 16.1 megapixel image sensor and provides high-performance photo features. With its high-performance features and array of photo shooting modes, the Casio EX-ZS6 camera will deliver an overall imaging experience that’s far from an entry-level camera.

The Casio Exilim ZS6 has dedicated operation buttons for the basic camera functions like, reviewing and deleting images. The Casio camera also features an 'easy picture mode' interface, which simply displays frequently used functions with large icons and text. When you point your Casio Exilim camera at a subject, the Casio ZS6 automatically focuses on the face of the subject or on the landscape. Once the focus frame turns green on the screen, the user just press the shutter button, and a sharply focused picture of the subject is captured. The compact Casio Exilim EX-ZS6 camera also offers a self-portrait function that automatically takes a beautiful shot when the camera detects the user's face and focuses on it. What’s more is that the Casio ZS6 camera is also capable of HD movie recording (1280x720 pixels) for stunning movie clips. In addition, the Casio Exilim EX-ZS6 features a 2.7-inch color LCD screen as well as quick USB charging, which provides users the ability to recharge the battery in-camera while connected to a Personal Computer or notebook.

The Casio Exilim camera is equipped with a 26mm wide-angle lens with 5x optical zoom. The Casio Exilim EX-ZS6 digital compact camera will be available in four colors; Black, Silver, Red en Pink. The Casio ZS6 digital camera is scheduled to be available around April 2012 for an estimated retail price of $120 USD.
