 CES 2012 - Casio Exilim EX-ZS20 digital camera : At the 2012 CES Show in Las Vegas, Casio launched a new Exilim digital camera; The Casio Exilim EX-ZS20. The new Casio Exilim camera features a powerful zoom lens, 16.1 effective megapixels and provides high-performance photography features that are typically not available in entry level cameras. The Casio EX-ZS20 camera has dedicated buttons for the basic camera operations of capturing, reviewing, and deleting pictures. The Casio Exilim ZS20 compact camera also features the 'Easy Mode' interface, which clearly displays frequently used camera functions with large lettering and icons.

The Casio Exilim ZS20 camera is equipped with a 26mm wide-angle lens and a 6x optical zoom in a slim, stainless-steel body. The Casio ZS20 offers a Premium Auto mode, which automatically analyzes the shooting scene to choose the best settings and performs image processing. When set to Premium Auto mode, the Casio Exilim EX-ZS20 will automatically analyze the scene being photographed and simultaneously optimize settings for exposure, ISO, sensitivity, focus location, photo blur correction, tonal range, color balance, and level of noise reduction.

By following instructions from the on-screen help guide, users can take photos with the optimal photographic settings. Also, by merely pointing the camera at a subject, the Casio Exilim EX-ZS20 camera automatically focuses on the face of the subject or on the landscape. Once the focus frame turns green, the user just presses the shutter button, and a sharply focused image is captured. The Casio Exilim EX-ZS20 camera is designed to be easy for everyone to operate, even novices.

The Casio ZS20 camera is also capable of HD movie recording in 1280x720 pixel resolution for stunning video clips. Users of the Casio EX-ZS20 digital camera will also benefit from helpful images and descriptions which accompany each mode and give a detailed explanation of when to use them and what each will provide in regard to results. The Casio camera also offers a self-portrait function that automatically takes a beautiful shot when the camera detects the user's face and automatically focuses on it.

Casio Exilim EX-ZS20 price and availability
The new Casio Exilim EX-ZS20 digital camera will be available in the colors; Black, Silver, Blue, Pink, Red and White. The Casio Exilim camera is scheduled to be available in April 2012 for an estimated retail price of $160 USD.
