 CES 2012 - Casio Exilim EX-ZS150 digital camera : Casio has introduced new digital compact cameras at the 2012 international Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The new Casio Exilim EX-ZS150 camera features a powerful zoom lens, 16.1 megapixels and provides high-performance features that are typically not available in entry level cameras. The Casio EX-ZS150 has dedicated buttons for the basic camera operations of capturing, reviewing, and deleting pictures. The Casio Exilim camera also features the 'Easy Mode' interface, which clearly displays frequently used photo functions with large lettering and understandable icons.

The Casio Exilim EX-ZS150 digital camera is equipped with a 24mm wide-angle lens and a 12.5x optical zoom ready to capture any kind of scene. The Casio Exilim ZS150 offers a 'Premium Auto mode', which automatically analyzes the shooting scene to choose the best camera settings. When set to Premium Auto mode, the Casio Exilim EX-ZS150 camera will automatically analyze the scene being photographed and simultaneously optimize settings for exposure, ISO, sensitivity, focus location, color balance, photo blur correction, tonal range, and level of noise reduction. The Premium Auto mode will automatically distinguish night scenes, back lighting, green trees, a blue sky, or a beautiful sunset and can sense whether there is a person’s face in the frame, the movement and position of the subject, and whether a tripod is being used.

All pictures taken with the Casio camera are analyzed pixel by pixel to apply different corrections depending on the subject. For example, if Premium Auto mode recognizes that the subject of the picture is a person, the Casio Exilim EX-ZS150 camera will automatically apply the 'Makeup Mode', and will automatically apply 'Landscape Mode' if it detects that the subject of the picture is a landscape. The new Casio Exilim camera features a 2.7" LCD display which can be used to review pictures or using the built-in help guide. By following instructions from the help guide, users can take photos with the optimal photographic settings. Also, by merely pointing the camera at a subject, the Casio ZS150 camera automatically focuses on the face of the subject or on the landscape. Once the focus frame turns green, the user just presses the shutter button, and a sharply focused image is captured. What’s more is that the Casio Exilim ZS150 compact camera is also capable of HD movie recording (1280x720 pixels) for stunning video clips.
