Olympus PEN Lite videos : The Olympus PEN Lite E-PL3 is the successor to the PEN E-PL2. Improvements are found in the new sensor, the new Fast AF autofocus system, the AF assist lamp, the tilting display, and also in the video function. The E-PL2 was able to record videos in HD resolution, while the Olympus PEN Lite E-PL3 can also record Full HD 1920x1080 videos. The Full HD videos are saved in AVCHD format, in order to limit the necessary storage capacity. You can also record HD videos in JPEG format, in order to edit them. The Olympus PEN Lite offers a separate video button, so that you can record a video immediately without changing the setting.
Olympus PEN Lite videos Unfortunately there is only digital image stabilization and no optical image stabilization. Focusing with the Olympus PEN Lite also takes a bit of getting used to. The camera sometimes has trouble focusing during a video recording, especially when zooming in and out, it takes a bit of time. Just as for shooting photos, the Art filters can also be used for videos. There are six creative filters available; it is a very fun addition that is easy to apply. Further, stereo sound can be recorded and several settings can be adjusted manually.
