Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc review : Sony Ericsson has also embraced the Android platform, and due to Android’s success, it was of course, not a bad choice. Sony-Ericsson smartphones are often recognizable by their menu structure as well as the design. The Sony Ericsson Arc retail sales packaging is of a reasonable size with a blue side and on top it has a beautiful picture which nicely displays the Sony-Ericsson Arc smartphone. The front of the Sony-Ericsson Xperia Arc is completely black with three keys on the bottom. The side has a 3.5mm headset connection, the volume key, the camera key, and the connection for the phone charger. The power key and a micro-HDMI connection are found on the top of the smartphone.

Sony-Ericsson Arc review
The Sony Ericsson Arc is equipped with a 8.1 Megapixel digital camera. The Sony-Ericsson camera application is started by selecting camera in the menu or with the camera key on the side of the handset. Touching any place on the large touchscreen is enough to take a photograph. Starting up the camera app in the Sony-Ericsson Arc is amazing fast: you can take a picture within two seconds. When the camera app is started, you see a number of icons to the left with settings, and the last five icons that were made are to the right. The focus and shutter release is also very fast, within two seconds as well.

Review Sony-Ericsson Arc
The Sony Ericsson Arc is supplied with a 1500mAh Lithium Ion battery. According to the technical specifications, the maximum stand-by time is 430 hours and the maximum talk time is 8 hours. In practice, we enjoyed several days with a full battery, while we have taken photos and listened to music. The standard internal memory is only 512MB. Luckily, this Sony Ericsson smartphone can be extended with a microSD/SDHC memory card. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc supports these memory cards up to a maximum of 32GB.

Sony-Ericsson Xperia Arc review
Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Arc is another Android Smartphone with a sleek design. The Sony-Ericsson Arc is equipped with all the conveniences and the Sony Bravia Mobile Engine ensures staggering results on the touchscreen display. There is also an FM-radio present. The only drawback is the connection for the charger, as this is sensitive and a bit strangely designed, so that you do not always plug it in right.
