Canon PowerShot S100 features : The Canon S100 camera is equipped with a 12.1 Megapixel sensor. The high-sensitivity 1/1.7 type CMOS sensor, developed using Canon EOS SLR sensor know-how, works in combination with the new DIGIC 5 processor to deliver class leading image quality especially at higher ISO speeds and in low light conditions. The Canon HS System is a powerful combination of the DIGIC 5 processor, which is 6x more powerful than DIGIC 4, and a high-sensitivity CMOS image sensor. It lets you shoot with low noise and high image quality even in low light up to ISO 6400 - reducing the need for flash or a tripod.
Canon S100 features The Canon S100 digital camera features a bright f/2.0 lens which extends your ability to shoot in darker conditions. A 24mm wide angle lens setting lets you take breathtaking landscapes and a flexible 5x zoom gets you up close. Intelligent IS automatically selects exactly the right optical Image Stabilizer setting from 7 modes to ensure sharp, detailed pictures and movies. The lens control ring allows fast access to functions such as zoom, aperture, shutter speed, focus and ISO. Make adjustments to the level of noise reduction applied to pictures or shoot in RAW format for post-processing in the supplied DPP software.
Canon S100 GPS function Embed valuable location information into your digital pictures every time you take a photo with GPS tagging. The GPS Logger function can record your GPS position at set time intervals so you can review your entire journey on the supplied Map Utility software. A 460k dot bright and clear LCD features a tempered glass outer layer for strength and high visibility even when shooting in bright conditions.
Canon PowerShot S100 features Record awesome, Full HD 1080p video clips at 24fps with perfect stereo sound. The Canon S100 camera features an HDMI-CEC mini connection which allows for loss-less playback on a compatible HD-TV. Thanks to the processing capabilities of DIGIC 5 you can capture full resolution split second action at 9.6fps in an 8-frame burst using High-speed Burst HQ mode. Smart Auto selects camera settings for you from 32 different scenes (21 in movies), automatically ensuring optimum results. Multi-area White Balance compensates for the presence of multiple light sources for natural results.
