For instant access, a dedicated Wi-Fi button is provided. Just pressing it directly opens a Wi-Fi Connection mode outside home and gets WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) connection at home. The Wi-Fi module integrated in the Panasonic DMC-FX90 is situated on the opposite side of the grip on the camera so as not to interfere with the connection signal. Wi-Fi connectivity lets users share their photos instantly, straight from the Panasonic DMC-FX90 camera. Users can even back up their images to their Personal Computer with the wireless connection, ensuring those special moments are safe and secure!
Panasonic FX90 includes Lumix Club service
Panasonic is also launching a new service called “Lumix Club” for users of the Panasonic DMC-FX90 to offer an external site link function to easily support SNS posting using the Panasonic FX90 without having to worry about complicated settings. Once registered with Lumix Club on the camera, users can compile the log-in information for the social services in it. This means users of the Panasonic DMC-FX90 don’t have to log in to each service separately and can even upload and share images on different social services simultaneously.

The Panasonic DMC-FX90 makes uploading photos as quick as possible. Users can upload images and videos anywhere and instantly via the mobile network of their smartphone. Panasonic provides a free, dedicated application program (APP) “Lumix Link” for both iPhone and Android OS smartphones and all control is available with this program. Simply activate the application “Lumix Link” and log in to “Lumix Club” on the smartphone or on the PC browser, and users can upload their photos and videosanywhere via a mobile network - without needing to find a special access point. Simple! At home, users of the Panasonic DMC-FX90 can directly upload the images to the image sharing service using their home router.
Panasonic DMC-FX90 offers Wi-Fi software
The PHOTOfunSTUDIO 6.4 HD Lite Edition software with Wi-Fi, standard delivered with the Panasonic DMC-FX90, makes it possible to sort and organize photos not only of those newly taken but also of those stored in your PC with quick start-up and fast read-in of images. Once installed in the PC, the Panasonic DMC-FX90 can transfer the selected images to backup them in the PC via the wireless network. For the portraits, the Face Recognition function that recognizes the faces in the picture automatically sorts the photos by the registered faces without picking out each photo one by one when you only want pictures of a specific person.

The Panasonic DMC-FX90 Wi-Fi camera will be available in the color black from October 2011 and carries an estimated retail price of 330 Euro.
